The police-grade TASER® BOLT is a self-defense stun gun like no other. Using self-contained cartridges, the BOLT can fire two electrical probes up to 15 feet away to stick to assailants and bring them down. Once attached and activated the probes will arc through clothing to cause an array of physical issues, such as falling to the ground, involuntary muscle contractions, freezing in place, vertigo, etc.. These effects are due to the cause that the TASER's electrical currents mimic the body's natural ones. These causes what is called Neuromuscular Incapacitation, which is not dependent on pain to bring down someone. Along with the probes, the cartridge also releases 20-30 confetti-like Anti-felon ID tags, so they can be identified even if they somehow escape at first. Additionally, if you were to miss your target the BOLT has two metal electrodes on the front that work as a 50,000-volt contact stun gun. When operating, the handle is ambidextrous, so both right and left-handed individuals can use it with ease. For your protection and others there is an intuitive safety switch that, when closed, will not allow the gun to fire. On top of that, if the safety switch is left open and armed for longer than 20 minutes without use, it will go into an automatic low power mode that will also not allow the gun to fire until the safety switch is closed and reopened. To help you even further in use of this device there has been a LASER built-in for aiming purposes and an LED flashlight for lighting up dark areas. Finally, the stun gun is powered by a Lithium Power Magazine that can fire up to 50 thirty-second electrical discharges in its lifetime.
